Prophet 21 Application Consultant

GTN Technical Staffing is currently collaborating with a client in search of an Application Consultant. As an Application Consultant you will be responsible for delivering consulting support to clients who are distributors utilizing Prophet 21 as their ERP system. Working closely with both team members and clients your role will involve accurately understanding the clients’ business needs and providing solutions ranging from simple to complex.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Accurately scoping problems to understand business challenges and offering effective solutions which may include user training system changes business process improvements utilizing existing application functionality and providing technical SQL or C# solutions.
• Training users in Prophet 21.
• Providing technical support and issue resolution for clients using Prophet 21.
• Assisting project teams with Prophet 21 implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Epicor Prophet 21 “superuser” or administrator experience (preferably 34 years).
• Experience in a distribution environment OR Prophet 21 consulting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science business finance or related field preferred.

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of Prophet 21 with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL ability.
• Strong background in process review and design.
• Experienced in project management.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Outstanding virtual and inperson verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• C# ability.
• Experience with Crystal Reports API and/or thirdparty integration.
