Role: Solution Designer

Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of solutions ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the .Net technology stack staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews ensuring code quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
• Use of Agile methodology lead sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Leverage cloud technologies such as AWS to architect and deploy scalable and resilient .Net solutions.
• Identifying and addressing potential technical risks and challenges proactively assessing the systems architecture to identify any potential issues and devising strategies to mitigate them.

Must have:

• Strong development experience in .Net technology including C# ASP.Net .Net Core and related frameworks.
• Proven experience in architecting and designing complex enterpriselevel .Net applications.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or similar certifications.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in .Net technology with a strong industry track record.
• Proficiency in database design and management using SQL Server
• Experience with Agile methodology and its application to software development projects.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Handson experience with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS including infrastructure as code and cloudnative services.

Experience of leading a large development team.
