The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Computer Science Teacher to join their dynamic department. This is an immediate start opportunity (September 2024) offering a fulltime permanent contract.

In this rewarding role you will:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating computer science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum catering to various year groups.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive computer science curriculum fostering a love for the subject and its realworld applications.
• Play a pivotal role in nurturing students digital literacy skills and preparing them for success in a technologically driven world.
• Effectively assess and monitor student progress providing personalized support and guidance to ensure their academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department and contribute to the ongoing development of the computer science curriculum.

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science (or a relevant subject).
• A minimum of two years demonstrably successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• A strong subject knowledge and the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging learning experiences for students of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students parents and colleagues.
• A passion for innovation and a desire to stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer science.
