Job Title: IT Security Administrator

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and uphold IT security protocols to safeguard the organizations systems and data from unauthorized access breaches and cyber threats.
• Supervise security systems encompassing firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) antivirus software and encryption tools.
• Monitor network traffic for security incidents and promptly respond to security alerts and breaches.
• Conduct security assessments audits and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and propose remedial actions.
• Develop and enforce security policies standards and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.
• Manage user access controls including user provisioning authentication mechanisms and rolebased access control (RBAC).
• Collaborate with IT teams to embed security considerations into system design development and implementation processes.
• Provide security awareness training and education to foster a culture of security consciousness and compliance among employees.
• Keep abreast of emerging threats vulnerabilities and security technologies to continually enhance the organizations security posture.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of security principles practices and technologies.
• Handson experience with security tools and technologies like firewalls IDS/IPS SIEM antivirus and encryption.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 NIST and PCI DSS.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving aptitude capable of assessing and mitigating security risks effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills adept at working with crossfunctional teams.
• Preferred certifications such as CISSP CISM or CompTIA Security.
