Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a Technical Safety Engineer for Saudi Arabia.
The Technical Safety Engineer with experience in Risk Analysis and in RAM studies (preferred but not strictly required) will support in the execution and/or coordination of the risk assessments and consequences analysis within the technical safety engineering activities for different project phases from Feasibility Studies to FrontEnd and Detail Engineering design.
Responsibilities
Support in the management of and perform the risks analysis activities (BRA QRA FERA etc.) and RAM analysis for different designs and arrangements.
Support the Technical Safety Leader in the meetings/interface with Clients on technical issues on the methodologies assumption registers and findings relating to risk assessments and RAM analysis.
Preparation and participation to Client meetings.
Support the Technical Safety Leader in the evaluation of suppliers and subcontractor bids involved in the risk assessment studies and RAM analysis.
Support in the management of subcontractors and Suppliers.
Confident writing of reports and technical documentation.
Contribute to the development and to the continuous technical improvement of internal work methodologies and procedures.
Requirements
Minimum of 23 years proven experience in Fire Safety and Risk Assessment methodology and activities within the Oil & Gas Industry ideally both for onshore and offshore fields.
Understanding of safety studies and risk management e.g. QRA FERA BRA etc.
A minimum knowledge of industry standard consequence modelling and risk software (e.g. PHAST Safeti etc.) is required.
Experience in RAM analysis is preferred but not strictly required.
Advanced knowledge of English language. Ideally candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent report writing.
Good skills in the most common MS Office applications and Office365 suite.
Selfmotivated thinker able to work both independently and as a part of a larger Team.

Strong attitude to collaborate with colleagues also by means of IT / digital tools
