Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

   • Lead a team of systems administrators and technical specialists in the design implementation and maintenance of the organizations IT infrastructure.
   • Provide technical guidance mentorship and support to team members fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.

2. Strategic Planning and Architecture:

   • Develop and execute strategic plans for the organizations IT infrastructure including server network storage and virtualization environments.
   • Design and architect scalable reliable and secure IT solutions to meet business requirements and support growth objectives.

3. System Administration and Optimization:

   • Oversee the administration and maintenance of servers networks storage systems and virtualization environments ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
   • Implement best practices for system configuration performance tuning capacity planning and disaster recovery.

4. Technical Support and Escalation:

   • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues and provide advanced technical support to endusers and IT team members.
   • Troubleshoot complex technical problems analyze root causes and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

5. Security Management and Compliance:

   • Develop and enforce security policies procedures and controls to protect IT systems data and infrastructure from security threats and vulnerabilities.
   • Conduct regular security assessments audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

6. Vendor Management and Procurement:

   • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT systems hardware software and services.
   • Evaluate and procure technology solutions and services negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure value and alignment with business needs.

7. Project Management and Implementation:

   • Lead IT projects and initiatives from conception to completion including system upgrades migrations implementations and optimizations.
   • Develop project plans timelines and budgets and oversee project execution to ensure successful delivery within scope schedule and budget constraints.

8. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

   • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations procedures troubleshooting steps and best practices.
   • Share knowledge and expertise with team members through training sessions mentoring and collaboration.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Cisco Certified Network Professional) are preferred.

2. Experience: 810 years of experience in system administration roles with demonstrated leadership and management experience in complex IT environments.

3. Technical Skills:

   • Expertise in administering Windows Server and/or Linux/Unix operating systems virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
   • Strong understanding of networking concepts security principles backup and recovery solutions and scripting languages.
   • Experience with enterpriselevel infrastructure components such as Active Directory Exchange SQL Server and SAN/NAS storage systems.

4. Leadership and Communication:

   • Excellent leadership interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
   • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities. Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

5. Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects including planning execution and delivery.
