Senior DevOps Engineer AWSGCP

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our clients team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing deploying and managing our cloudbased infrastructure with a focus on scalability security and efficiency.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering you will work with diverse remote teams. The client is located in NYC but has a remotefirst culture and this is a remote role.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in platform engineering DevOps or similar roles.
• Strong experience with AWS and GCP.
• Familiar in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Proficient with scripting languages (Typescript preferred).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and cloud functions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable secure and robust cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and GCP.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform Pulumi or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into their development lifecycle.
• Automate deployment processes and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Actions.
• Monitor cloud environments and implement performance enhancements and security measures.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

There are several small engineering teams (located in India Ukraine Spain):

• Growth Team: 1 React Engineer 1 Woocommerce Engineer 2 Backend Engineers Team Lead
• Product Team: 2 Flutter Engineers 2 Backend Engineers Team Lead
• Operations Team: 1 Front End/React Engineer 2 Backend Engineers.

Additionally dev teams are supported by dedicated Project and Product Managers to streamline development processes.
