Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading Structural Engineering Firm in Memphis TN.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural analyses and inspections of residential commercial industrial and historical buildings.
  
• Prepare detailed construction documents including calculations drawings and specifications using relevant design software (experience with REVIT is highly desired)
  
• Work collaboratively with architects contractors and other engineers to ensure project success.
  
• Provide clear and concise recommendations for repairs and renovations.
  
• Participate in site visits and construction reviews to verify code compliance and quality of construction (handson experience with wood construction is a plus).
  
• Stay uptodate with the latest building codes and industry standards.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Tennessee or actively pursuing licensure.
  
• Minimum 510 years of experience in structural engineering.
  
• Proven experience with structural analysis software (REVIT experience strongly preferred)
  
• Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
  
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
