Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in advanced mathematics including calculus algebra and geometry.
• Develop and implement an effective curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them excel in mathematical studies.
• Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through assignments tests and projects and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Participate in parentteacher conferences and communicate student progress effectively.
• Stay updated on advancements in mathematics education and integrate relevant technologies into the classroom.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to mathematics such as math clubs or competitions.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and academic excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Mathematics Education or related field; Master s degree preferred.
• Teaching certification or licensure in Mathematics.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching advanced mathematics at the high school level or above.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and the ability to apply them in teaching mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
• Proven ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Experience in developing and implementing innovative and effective instructional materials.
• Proficiency in utilizing educational technologies and digital tools for instruction.
• Passion for continuous professional development and staying abreast of current trends in mathematics education.
