Working within a collaborative team the activities include:
- Provide input and planning of implementation of solutions to provide simplified and bank agnostic connectivity and data exchange, providing greater flexibility and efficiency in global cash transaction processing.
- Determining the markets, approach and system solutions deploying payments on behalf of/virtual accounts and rationalising bank accounts
- Increasing real time visibility of global cash.
- Modelling the historical impact of how different FX rate setting and settlement periods would have impacted the group P&L and hence recommend the appropriate hedging strategy in the future.
- Assessing the impact of any proposed change on group wide processes, information requirements and systems across all Finance areas
- Performing gap analysis of the current position to the proposed end state and developing a high-level implementation plan.

Typical Accountabilities
- Lead the end to end set up of bank accounts for new and existing entities.
- Work with external banking partners in a collaborative manner to tight deadlines
- Coordinate and conduct thorough end to end testing.
- Liaise with other members of Global Finance Services “GFS”, Group Treasury and broader finance to ensure alignment with their activities and communicate changes as necessary
- Ensure the GFS team, is kept up to date on the progress of the project through regular reporting and feedback sessions
- Challenge existing processes to drive continuous improvement/automation.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Deep knowledge and experience of high volume, high value business-to-business and intercompany banking in a global corporate environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of SAP FICO, host to host integration solutions and various formats including API.
- SAP S4HANA procure to pay and Order to cash experience.
- Experience in the existing ECC system banking configuration like house banks, payments configuration (DMEE, IDOC, IFILE) and statements configuration (CAMPT53, MT940).
- Experience and participation in the system unit testing, SIT and UAT test iterations with internal stakeholders and banks.
- Banking applications like FIS payment factory HUB, quantum knowledge.
- Ability to communicate across all levels within and outside the organisation, capable of managing stakeholders to drive a change agenda to delivery and benefits.
- In depth knowledge in MT940 and CAMT53 and ISO XML file formats.
- Good documentation skills to prepare the functional specifications and user requirement documents in banking.
- Experience in the user training and conducting the test workshops with the users on a need based.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with external banks on the payment file validation and capable to convert the bank specifications into requirement document.
- Good experience in the SAP cutover activities as part of the deployment window
- Knowledge and experience of working collaboratively and closely with major global banks via customer relationship managers and technical support teams.
- Ability to draft documents structured to the User & Functional environment.
- Experience of working with Shared Service Centres and / or Business Process Outsourcing partners and as part of a diverse global project team
- Ideally with Banking sector experience as significant interaction with Banks & Financial Services industry is anticipated.
