Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst for one of our clients in the insurance industry.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $54.94 to $71.83 based on experience.
6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Utilize strong analytical skills to gather analyze and document business requirements ensuring clear organization and traceability to project objectives.
Work within an agile environment and demonstrate a deep understanding of the agile delivery model to drive efficient project delivery.
Write manage and execute test cases and coordinate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases of projects to validate system functionality and usability.
Leverage expertise in Excel and other analytical tools to extract interpret and transform data into actionable insights that drive meaningful change and support decisionmaking.
Lead the testing of new system implementations ensuring the quality and functionality of the systems meet business needs and requirements.
Conduct thorough process analysis and improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
Gather and define data requirements for new data relationships and entity relationships contributing to enhanced data integrity and usability.
Utilize insurance or financial sector knowledge to provide valuable insights and solutions tailored to the specific needs of the industry.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders fostering strong relationships and driving collaboration across departments.
Manage stakeholders and facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
What you will need to succeed:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
57 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in agile methodologies and the agile delivery model.
Mastery of Excel and other analytical tools.
Experience in writing requirements organizing and tracing them to project objectives.
Strong understanding of data and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience in testing new system implementations and conducting process analysis and improvement.
Knowledge of insurance or financial industry practices and requirements (an asset).
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
