Head of MFL (German) ** Croydon Church of England Secondary School** (Start ASAP)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join the team at a thriving Church of England secondary school in Croydon South London. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Head of MFL (German) to lead the department and inspire a love for the language in students.

About the Role:

• Lead and manage the MFL (German) department ensuring the delivery of highquality teaching and learning across all Key Stages.
• Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that fosters a love for the German language and culture.
• Motivate and inspire a team of teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Play a key role in the schools wider strategic development promoting the importance of languages.
• Contribute to the pastoral care of students within the MFL department.

About You:

• A qualified and experienced teacher of German with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for the German language and a desire to share this enthusiasm with students.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
