Pl note: Candidate may be asked to travel to Latin America for some time. Pl check if they are open for the same. If not we can try for remote too.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced File Maker Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the File Maker Engineer you will be contributing to the introduction of new features enhancing existing functionality and providing support to ensure the seamless operation of our FileMakerbased solutions. In this role you will collaborate with diverse technology groups to integrate systems aligning with our business and revenue objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a FileMaker Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of FileMaker Pro development principles and best practices
- Proficiency in FileMaker Pro Advanced including layout design scripting calculations and reporting.
- Experience with FileMaker Server FileMaker Go and FileMaker WebDirect
- Knowledge of relational database design principles and SQL
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and RESTful APIs
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Through our engagement we contribute to our customer in developing the enduser modules firmware implementing new features maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
- Maintain and improve legacy FileMaker database applications by interviewing business staff to identify database requirements.
- Design develop test and implement new FileMaker database functionality.
- Load data from and extract data to thirdparty systems.
- Support business staff through database application training and information.
- Troubleshoot database applications.
- Ensure the reliability scalability maintainability and availability of FileMaker database applications.
- Assist with disaster recovery and planning.
