Overview:
Tekwissen group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. This client is a German multinational Pharmaceutical and biotechnology company and one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world headquartered in Leverkusen and areas of business include pharmaceuticals; consumer healthcare products agricultural chemicals seeds and biotechnology products.

Job Description:
- Seeking a skilled researcher to join the High Throughput Protein Production Team. Candidates should have a strong background in recombinant protein production or similar experience. Experience with laboratory automation and data entry is preferred. The team is fastpaced and timeline driven. Successful candidates are expected to have the ability to work in a team environment with strong written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Expression of recombinant proteins using a variety of expression systems
- Protein purification and/or sample preparation of expressed protein as required
- Deliver results in a timely fashion
- Maintain proper records and documentation
- Manage inventory and perform lab management tasks such as placing orders with vendors
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Biology or Biochemistry. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
- Hands on experience in the area of protein expression and purification
- Proficient with LIMS usage
- Demonstrated ability to work in a teambased environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with automation equipment preferred
