Data Analyst with Health Care- W2 role

• This group oversees all clinical research across Optum Health at a national level
• This team focuses specifically on data analytics will be more health economics focused
• 7 new high profile projects just given to them with the volume of work they need more headcount
• Contract to hire if they do well on these projects they will get more work assigned to them and these consultants could go full time to help support

• Principal data scientist and 2 other data analysts director of data analytics

• Data analysis of claims and EHR/EMR data
• Programming using SAS (standard and Macros)
• Advanced SQL programming

• SAS Programming experience
• Macros experience needed
• Will be using PROC SQL
• Strong SQL programming skills complex queries stored procedures functions triggers tables
• Healthcare claims data experience is needed
• Would be great if theyve worked on EHR/EMR data and understand ICD 10 codes

• Writing or publishing experience would be a huge plus to present data analysis findings
• A go getter someone who is not uncomfortable asking for help. Lots of support is available if they ask for it
