Job Description
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales profitability and market share for your assigned category.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and competitor activity.
- Manage the product lifecycle within your category from sourcing and selection to launch optimization and endoflife strategies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including buying merchandising marketing and sales to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable purchasing agreements.
- Monitor and analyze category performance metrics and make datadriven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in retail and category management.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Category Management role preferably within the Retail/Beauty sector.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market research methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive sales growth and profitability.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Arabic (highly preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant category management software.
- Must be currently residing in Kuwait with a valid Iqama.
