Responsibilities
Acquire leads on prospective customers from the ecommerce portal and from CLM department. Review enquires received on ecommerce portal and contact customers to clarify their queries on products. Also assist them in selecting the MercedesBenz products by undertaking an indepth needs analysis. Leverage the use of ecommerce portal and its features to formally explain to customers the product range availability of stock pricing and payments process to confirm booking of selected cars. Explain vehicle performance product details features and benefits according to the MercedesBenz sales process. Followup with customers registered on ecommerce portal during special promotions and offers campaigns from Marketing team. Fix appointments to invite potential customers from ecommerce and other sources who have shown interest. Greet and continue assistance to the customers when they visit the showroom according to the MercedesBenz brand image. Offer and accompany the customer in test driving vehicles according to the MercedesBenz test drive process. Ensure smooth completion of the sales contract and associated documentation Promote and up sell MercedesBenz products and services (e.g. MercedesBenz Collection). Introduce finance and insurance products during the sales process and support implementation of finance and insurance campaigns. Facilitate that the F&I department receives sufficient customer information for a smooth handover. Facilitate that relevant paperwork car registration and/or insurance documentation is completed according to the distributor policies. Organize the handover of the vehicle according to the distributor policy. Introduce the customer to the AfterSales department. Handle customer complaints tactfully and promptly according to the distributor policies and escalate difficult cases immediately to the Online Sales Manager. Ensure regular and prompt updates of customer database and records to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Share knowledge and best practices about the respective specialized product or product group within the rest of the sales team. Gain expert product knowledge on MercedesBenz and competitor products features and accessories and update this regularly.
