Senior Compliance Officer

Position: Senior Compliance Officer
Sector: Private Banking
Start Date: May 2024
Duration: 3 months (Option for perm.)
Utilization: 100%
Location: Zurich
Salary: CHF

Tasks

• Reviewing client files prepared by the Front Office to assess compliance and client integrity risks covering areas such as KYC AML/CFT sanctions bribery and and client tax integrity
• Acting as the main point of contact for Relationship Managers and other internal stakeholders or team members regarding compliance matters
• Developing and implementing compliance controls within specified timelines including proper documentation and escalation of findings to senior management and other internal stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining internal policies procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with grouplevel requirements
• Contributing to Compliance training programs for employees

Requirements

• Resident in Switzerland
• Fluency in English and German
• University degree in law business administration or a related field preferably obtained in Switzerland. Compliance certification is advantageous
• Min. 5 years of experience in compliance risk management and/or audit functions preferably within Swiss Private Banking
• Profound working knowledge of Swiss and/or European regulations including AML/CFT FACTA/CRS investment suitability crossborder market abuse sustainability and other compliance risks
