Position Title: Lead Data Scientist
Contract Duration: 12 months with potential for extension
Location: 100% Remote consultant must reside in the EST Time Zone
Visa Restrictions: None (H1Bs must be held by your firm no subcontractors or affiliated companies)

Top 3 Must Have Skills:

1. 8 years of total experience
2. Experience working with AWS SageMaker
3. Experience deploying Machine Learning models into production (Industry experience preferred over researchbased)

Position Description:
The Lead Data Scientist will leverage numerical techniques algorithms and models in statistical modeling machine learning operations research and data mining to identify and solve business problems. They will employ advanced analytical capabilities to support data science initiatives communicate across product teams and with customers and educate on artificial intelligence machine learning and statistical models. Acting as a liaison between analytics business units and other departments they will ensure maximum efficiency in tasks and responsibilities.

• Lead/guide implementation of best practices for projects applying artificial intelligence techniques to achieve concrete business goals while managing limited resources and data constraints.

Youll Bring these Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or related discipline.
• 8 years of relevant work experience (in lieu of a Bachelors degree an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required).
• Ability to work independently without detailed guidance.
• Effective communication and documentation skills for objectives and procedures.
• Proficiency in various data science tools and frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge in model evaluation tuning performance operationalization and scalability of scientific techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling applications.
• Advanced proficiency in advanced SQL across multiple syntaxes.
• Prior experience working on Cloud Technologies preferably AWS & SageMaker.
