Senior Golang Developer

Job Summary:

As a Senior Golang Engineer at P99soft you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our

backend infrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our

dynamic team. In this position you will be responsible for designing developing and

maintaining highperformance and scalable backend services in Golang. Collaboration with

crossfunctional teams contribution to API development database design and championing

security best practices are essential aspects of this role. As a Senior Golang Engineer you will

actively participate in code reviews contribute to the overall improvement of our development

processes and help pave the way for our backend roadmap to align with business goals and user

expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

Design develop and maintain highperformance and scalable backend services

in Golang.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to seamlessly integrate our web service

into thirdparty game clients.

Communicate progress regularly and seek clarification on requirements when

necessary.

API Development:

Design and implement HTTP APIs to support SDKrelated functionalities for game

studio partners.

Database Design:

Design scalable database collections and queries.

Demonstrate a high level of proficiency and handson experience with databases

including data modeling query optimization indexing aggregation framework

scaling sharding and transactions.

Security:

Implement and champion security best practices in the backend architecture.

Roadmap Paving:

Contribute to the development of the backend roadmap ensuring alignment

with business goals and user expectations.

Code Review:

Actively participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback and

promoting continuous improvement in our development processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you should have:

Software Engineering Experience:

4 years of professional experience writing software.

Golang Experience:

2 years of experience building Golang applications.

Experience with AWS SDK Kubernetes and Redis is desired.

Database Mastery:

High level of proficiency and handson experience with databases including data

modeling query optimization indexing aggregation framework scaling

sharding and transactions.

SelfSufficiency:

Ability to work with limited supervision across different time zones.

Strong communication skills to provide regular progress updates and seek

clarification on requirements when necessary.

Adaptability:

Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements.

Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.

Communication:

Effective communication with remote team members both written and verbal.

Provide progress updates and flag potential roadblocks while fostering positive

and productive working relationships.
