Mission

The administrator works closely with the ERP project team business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure data quality integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process. The administrator also performs data cleansing validation mapping and transformation tasks using SQL scripts and tools. The administrator monitors and troubleshoots data migration issues performs data backup and recovery and documents data migration procedures and results.

Expected results

As a SQL DBA you will:

• Design install configure and maintain the SQL server database following best practices and standards
• Monitor and optimize the database performance availability and capacity
• Implement backup and recovery strategies and perform regular backups and restores
• Ensure data security and compliance with data protection regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database issues or incidents
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff
• Collaborate with ERP consultants and developers to support data migration projects from legacy systems to Dynamics Navision
• Document database policies procedures and configurations

Expected profile

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Proven experience as a SQL DBA preferably with Dynamics Navision SAP Business One or other ERP systems
• Indepth knowledge of SQL server database administration including installation configuration performance tuning backup and recovery security and troubleshooting
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques
• Familiarity with ERP system architecture and functionality
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or relevant certification

Other requirements

• Whilst youll be primarily located at the Derby office at times you will be expected to work/travel to Blackburn/Doncaster sites.
• Full clean UK Driving license
