Director Human Resources

Seeking an experienced Director Human Resources to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR and ensuring that HR policies and procedures align with the companys goals and objectives. This is a leadership role that requires strong strategic thinking excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices. Including performance management compliance FMLA and STD. This is a plant HR leader who will be highly visible on the plant floor.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process including sourcing interviewing and onboarding new employee
• Manage employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and performance management
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
• Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Manage compensation and benefits programs including salary administration bonus plans and employee recognition programs
• Oversee the performance appraisal process to ensure fair and objective evaluations
• Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
• Provide guidance and support to managers on HRrelated issues and problem solve

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field; Masters degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in HR management roles
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others; will manage a small team
• Oversee and manage Internship program and talent acquisition for plant.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience working in a fastpaced environment and interact with employees on three shifts.
• Seeking someone from a manufacturing environment

Salary starting at $115 based on experience
