We are engaged by our client a leading shipping & logistics provider they seek an experienced Kuwaitbased Business Development Manager Break Bulk / Project Cargo to lead the ongoing expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Break Bulk / Project Cargo sector.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Create product awareness and arrange customer presentations and product demonstrations to improve sales opportunities.
- Handle quotations & all Commercial aspects of Break Bulk / Project Cargo opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking forums to promote our services and brand.
- Collaborate with operational team members coordinating with vendors and internal clients.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities pipeline and achievements to senior management.
- Understand and communicate current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that will increase company margins.
- Use the CRM system to create/manage activities and business opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management business administration or a related field.
- Previous 5 years of experience in Breakbulk/Project Cargo business development.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of ethics and professionalism.
- Outgoing personality team attitude.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Excellent spoken English & Arabic.
