SAP Data Engineer - Kanerika Software

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining big data pipelines with a focus on SAP technologies such as SAP Data Intelligence SAP HANA and SAP Business Objects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing building and optimizing batch and realtime data flows to support various datadriven initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement big data pipelines using SAP technologies including SAP Data Intelligence SAP HANA and SAP Business Objects.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define data pipeline architectures that meet business needs.
• Develop batch and realtime data flows to ingest process and transform large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance scalability and reliability ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data throughout the pipeline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance data quality and system integrations.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SAP technologies big data platforms and data engineering best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing big data pipelines using SAP technologies.
• Strong proficiency in SAP Data Intelligence SAP HANA and SAP Business Objects.
• Experience with batch and realtime data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark Kafka and SAP Data Services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or Scala.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
• SAP certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Development Associate) are a plus.
