To assist in managing all procurement requirements in a given or group of product categories comprising of all goods services and works required from the relevant stakeholders helping to set category strategy interfacing with internal customers and suppliers to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic financial and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Operational
- Assist with Category planning analysis and management with experience of category and procurement.
- Managing and optimising supplier performance and reduction in total cost of ownership. Negotiations planning and execution with suppliers on costs commercial and contractual terms.
- Responsible for planning for procurement activities together with the Senior Management.
- Responsible for Tender management and administration for high value and risk projects running process troubleshooting and interfacing with all relevant parties.
- Ensures Market research to source alternate supply sources.
- Interface with internal user departments including senior management and suppliers on procurement projects.
- Assisting in setting and achieving of Category KPIs to strive to targets and provide competitive advantage.
- Review and endorse documents submitted by staff for strategy compliance and best practice.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Line Manager and Head of Department.

- Keep abreast with any market trends and developments.
- Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting.
- Train other employees including Qatari staff for proper succession planning and risk management.
Pay: QAR6.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
