• Shift Timings: and nbsp;18:45 07:15 Hours. Monday to friday (3 days/12 Hours)
• Per Week: 36 Hours
• Unit Capacity: 36 Beds Population Served: Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown: Cardiac bedside monitoring Cardiac drips TR bands Post heart caths Stroke/Neuro patients BIPAP overflows Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 60) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6 Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test

Roles and amp; Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for wellcoordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
