Description:

• Department: and nbsp;Medical 9 West
• Shift Timing: 06:30 19:00 Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hour shift
• Per Week: 36 Hours
• This department is a 28 unit serving Neuro/Stroke unit serving adult patients and does have telemetry capability. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:56. The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Healthcare unit coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry. NIH is required.

Roles and amp; Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for wellcoordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
