• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
• State teaching certification in Social Science or relevant subject area.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching social science to middle or high school students.
• Strong knowledge of social science curriculum standards and instructional best practices.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written with students colleagues and parents.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Experience in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance learning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a growth mindset.
• Passion for social science education and a genuine interest in students academic and personal growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
