Windchill Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for the Windchill system.
• Develop and customize Windchill solutions to support PLM processes and workflows.
• Implement and maintain Windchill configurations including data migration and integrations with other systems.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the stability and performance of the Windchill system.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windchillrelated issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvement and optimization.
• Participate in the design and deployment of new functionalities and upgrades for the Windchill system.
• Document technical specifications test plans and operational procedures related to Windchill development and customization.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements related to Windchill and PLM.
• Train end users and stakeholders on the usage and functionality of the Windchill system.
• Support the implementation of security and compliance measures for the Windchill system.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of Windchill development.
• Contribute to the overall strategy and roadmap for Windchill system enhancements and scalability.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners for specialized Windchill development and integration projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in Windchill development customization and configuration.
• Proficiency in Java programming language with the ability to develop custom solutions within Windchill.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and best practices.
• Experience in integrating Windchill with other enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM.
• Knowledge of Windchill data migration techniques and tools.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and debugging for complex Windchill issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
• Capability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to innovate and optimize the Windchill system.
• Understanding of security measures and compliance requirements related to PLM systems.
• Experience in documenting technical specifications test plans and operational procedures.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software development and project management.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends related to Windchill and PLM.
• Certifications in Windchill development or related technologies are a plus.
