Axpo is building a bestinclass IT that will bring us to the next level in digitalization data intelligence digital workplace and collaboration. We use MuleSoft as a strategic integration platform and Azure Services to provide data integration solutions based on REST APIs for many interesting projects. You will be responsible for successfully implementing our APIfirst strategy in delivering cuttingedge data integration solutions.

What you will do

• Join a team of experienced software engineers specializing in backend development and integrating applications using MuleSoft Anypoint platform and REST APIs.
• Take ownership of our data storage modules like Azure SQL databases Azure Data Lake and Elastic stack including Power BI based monitoring and altering.
• Analyze business requirements collaborate with engineers and architects to deliver REST API based integration solutions setting benchmarks for reusability and extensibility.
  
• Design and implement integrations and APIs using your extensive API development experience and a learningbydoing approach to acquire proficiency in MuleSoft.
  
• You adhere to our integration strategy design principles development guidelines and review processes and take part in their evolution to ensure firstclass quality.
  
• Proactively monitor the integration platform troubleshoot resolve and report issues to impacted teams and stakeholders.
  

What you bring & who you are

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in software development with a solid background of 5 years in backend programming languages (Java) understanding of computing science fundamentals: concurrency algorithms data modelling design patterns etc.
  
• Successful development of DWH/Analytics platforms based on Microsoft BI stack experience with Azure data services Power BI Entra ID and in best case Elastic stack
• Experience working in agile software delivery teams with a track record of delivering highquality software quickly and efficiently utilizing highfrequency delivery and automated quality assurance.
• Successful development of microservices consumable via RESTful HTTP JSON
  
• Experience in any middleware (Apigee webMethods SAP CPI MuleSoft TIBCO Boomi) is a plus.
  
• Proactive enthusiasm for becoming a MuleSoft expert.
  
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
