Company Information
Our client a leading healthcare provider in the region is expanding its services to meet the growing healthcare needs of the McAllen and Edinburg communities. With a commitment to highquality patient care and the latest medical technologies we are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team. This position offers flexibility in employment with the aim of enhancing our comprehensive gastroenterology services.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Texas
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish to better serve the local patient population
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in gastroenterology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build a robust referral network and maintain strong patient relationships
- Motivated to contribute to the growth and development of our gastroenterology services
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to the community including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver highquality patientcentered care
- Participate in shared call with other Gastroenterologists ensuring comprehensive coverage
- Engage in community outreach and education to promote gastrointestinal health and services
