Position: HR PAYROLL EXECUTIVE Electronics Design Engineer Milton Keynes Be a part of one of the UK's mostinnovative companies and one of the UK's largest privately ownedelectronics manufacturers. Our client is a leading technologysolutions provider offering a comprehensive range of verticallyintegrated design and manufacturing solutions tailored to meet ourclient's highly diversified business requirements. We recognise themarket need to be flexible and responsive to meet the demands of aconstantly changing landscape, focusing on low to medium volumehigh mix product profiles with localised support. Our client issearching for an Electronics Design Engineer who will beresponsible for designing electronic products for a variety ofmajor OEM's. The Role: To Design electronic products for avariety of major OEM's in market sectors including Automotive,Clean Energy, Communication & Broadcasting, Consumer,Defence & Aerospace, Homeland Security, IP Development Platforms, Medical, Scientific Research & Space. With thisspread of market sectors you can see that the scope of projectswill be vast, challenging and interesting. Working witha multi-disciplined engineering team consisting of Mechanical,Electronic, PCB and Software Engineers you will be involved inevery aspect of the product lifecycle from initial contact with thecustomer through quotation, conception and design tomanufacture. The work is rewarding and diverse enablingyou to use the full scope of your electronic engineering skills andexperience. You will be able to work remotely and wewill supply you the IT equipment as needed so that you can carryout your role. However, we have an electronics lab located at Lutonin Bedfordshire and you will need to travel into site when workingon hardware and or to assist with issues asneeded. About you: You will be an experienced Electronic Design Engineer who has designed products for manufacture,accustomed to working to deadlines and able to communicate withcustomers in an eloquent and professional manner. Whilst you willhave a good grounding in embedded systems software your focus willbe hardware. You will be self-managing and highly motivated with amethodical, analytical approach and a willingness to work toexisting design ethics andstyle. Ideally adegree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or relateddiscipline Extensive experience of Electronics Hardware Design from concept through toproduction Excellent analytical and problemssolving skills combined with knowledge and experience of a widerange of electronic technologies andproducts. Demonstrable skills in the authoringof key technical documentation andreports Essential skills & experience: Experience of workingin a relevant commercial designenvironment Mixed Analogue and Digital Designwith Micro-controllers Schematic Capture Highly Developed Structured Approach toDesign Good technical writing and documentationexperience FMEA and problem-solvingtechniques.
