Position Overview
Fulltime employed position for an inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist capable of treating patients aged 4 and older. An opportunity for involvement in teaching and mentoring psychiatry residents and fellows from the University of Washington.

Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Valid and active medical license in the state of Alaska or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong clinical skills in the evaluation diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings. Interest and/or experience in teaching and mentoring medical students residents and fellows.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for inpatient children and adolescents aged 4 and older. Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment team contributing to treatment planning and implementation. Engage in teaching and mentoring activities with psychiatry residents and fellows if opted. Manage responsibilities associated with the oncemonthly weekend rotation and one overnight call per week.
