Audit Specialist Qatari National - Ground Services

Responsibilities • Ensure continuous communication with the Manager is maintained. Provide regular updates on Ground Service-related audit progress, submit progress reports and escalate issues or challenges faced proactively. • Conduct all aspects of audits competently, including but not limited to core functions of Ground Services and the facilitation of safe and timely transit of passengers, baggage, cargo and passenger services like cabin services and catering through DIA & HIA or outstation airports. • Assist in the timely completion of the Audit timetable, communication plan, audit programme, fieldwork, thorough work paper filing, portal update and draft report for submission to the Manager • Proactively leverage knowledge and skill strengths of colleagues (HIA, MIA and consultants) to continually assess and improve ground services and associated areas. • Assist in the preparing of detailed reports on audit findings and report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operational and service deliverables. • Responsible for regular reporting and analysis of trends in HUB • Implements Company risk assessment principles in examining roles, activities, resources and equipment • Provide advice and assistance to Line manager and staff to ensure compliance with requirements of legislations, standards, codes of practice and internal policies and procedures. • Responsible for an effective audit and quality control program and periodic oversight and observation to check ongoing compliance within QR HUB and its suppliers of ground handling service • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department Be part of an extraordinary story Your skills. Qualifications About you The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: • Relevant College or University qualification • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language. • Commitment to a high level of ethical standards in a diverse work environment. • Ability to look at situations from several points of view • High level of computer literacy About Qatar Airways Group Our story started with four aircraft.
