Lead Embedded Engineer

Job Description:

Design and develop Bluetooth meshbased connectivity solutions
Collaborate with vendors to customize firmware to meet performance requirements
Develop objectoriented designs abstraction layers middleware and system services for
embedded Linux and Android
Define and implement effective strategies for functionality power and connection
management
Develop drivers and firmware update utilities as necessary
Actively participate in code and design reviews; perform unit testing to deliver highquality
software
Debug pairing handoff and coexistence issues and develop intelligent solutions that greatly
enhances user experience

Qualification

BE /B.Tech or MS in Computer Science Electrical Computer engineering with 2 years of
software development experience
Strong C/C programming skills and objectoriented designs
Strong first principles thinking along with excellent analytical debugging and problemsolving
skills
2 years of handson experience with Bluetooth classic low energy and mesh protocols
Expertlevel understanding of the inner workings of Bluetooth stack protocols and security
Good knowledge of upcoming BT SIG standards and interoperability issues with iOS and
Android ecosystem

Keyskills Required:

Prior experience developing software solutions for Bluetoothbased products
Prior experience building innovative applications using Bluetooth
Extensive knowledge of coexistence issues with Cellular WiFi and Bluetooth
Prior experience with firmware updates and device management
Knowledgeable about NFC standards and solutions to enhance the pairing experience and
security

Good to have

Embedded software experience (Bluetooth Mesh/C/Java)

Good knowledge of IoT/ MIS
