Inclusion Camp Counselor

The Camp Counselor will be provide provide mentorship and positive guidance to children and adults with disabilities including developmental cognitive and physical disabilities while making a positive impact in the community. With indepth training on disability adaptations accommodation and personal care needs you will gain critical experience in positive guidance techniques and program creation.

Specific Hours:

This is a parttime position working 7:15 am3 pm Monday Friday between JuneJuly.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily activities
  
• Provide opportunities for educational enrichment physical activity and healthy eating
  
• Build relationships with camp participants and families
  
• Assess implement evaluate and adapt camp activities
  
• Provide personal care needs and/or administer medication when needed
  

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills
  
• Education and experience working with individuals with disabilities are preferred
