Senior Business Development Coordinator Job Description

Longterm growth leads to business success and here at Bogart Wealth we welcome prospective team members who can help push our vision forward. The Business Development Coordinator supports and works directly with the Business Development Manager to execute and deliver on internal and external marketing and business development.

Objectives of this role

Identify Develop and Secure new business opportunities by generating leads in sales.

Maintain prospective relationships.

Develop a deep understanding of firm specialty areas and apply understanding for selling initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and follow up on all leads into Bogart Wealth
  • Responsible for the onboarding activities and tracking clients targeting outreach and efforts.
  • Develop and modify as needed process for qualifying prospects.
  • Assigning leads to advisors based on given firm parameters.
  • Assist with Marketing and BD Managers to ensure consistent lead flow.
  • Supports the BD Manager with business development activities as well as management projects.
  • Assist with the development of RFPs.
  • Coordinate and arrange client events meetings appointments and conferences.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers via email phone and inperson.
  • Must be comfortable working in collaboration with a team of company personnel executives and officers; continuously adjusting responsibilities based on input from others.
  • Creating and maintaining CRM and mail lists.
  • Providing effective administrative support

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in business marketing or related field
  • 35 years experience in customer service marketing or a salesrelated field
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Must be a selfstarter and able to work independently and as a part of a time.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Strong problemSolving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
  • Familiarity with SalesForce

5 to 7 years or more of selling to stock market investors within the financial industry Current Investment Advisor Representative designation, OR Series 65, OR a combination of FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, OR qualifying financial professional designations or equivalents Extensive experience with bringing in new investor business, high-volume phone activity, and in-person meetings, working as an investment advisor or external wholesaler with a strong track record of success in sales and bringing in new investment assets Record of six-figure earnings in each of the past 3 years (pay for production compensation model)
