Project Engineer Water Resources

The successful candidate will perform a variety of Civil and Water Resource planning and design tasks for projects including the following:

• Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design WTPs pump stations pipelines storage tanks etc.)
• Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
• Prepare figures maps and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
• Prepare technical reports and memoranda
• Communicate well with other staff engineers project managers and principal engineers

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Potable Water system design (WTPs pipelines pump stations storage tanks)
• Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipelines and lift stations)
• Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans hydraulic modeling)
• Flood Control System Design (levee design ULDC compliance)

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS degree in Civil Engineering
• 3 years of experience in civil engineering field
• PE Registration in California or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr if relocating from another state with a PE
• Experience with GIS AutoCAD and Civil3D
