Developer for Package Management

Everest Systems is a startup company founded in 2020. Its focus is on developing business software for small and medium sized companies. The company is financially backed by a wellknown investor its founders are very experienced software and product architects from industry. The company is in Palo Alto USA and Heidelberg Germany.

Currently we are about 125 employees worldwide and we are hiring.

Tasks

As a developer you will focus on developing core components in our ERP application server specifically on capabilities for delivering applications and updates for production tenants in the cloud.

Your tasks include:

• Development of a stateoftheart innovative application server running in the cloud in production.
• Collaborate with engineers across the whole software stack to provide a stable and efficient platform for application developers and future customers.
• Contribute to core components covering the complete lifecycle of applications built on the ERP platform.
• Design develop test deploy and maintain the core components.
• Define the roadmap in collaboration with users and product managers to deliver improvements and new components

Requirements

• Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or any related.
• Coding experience in TypeScript or JavaScript but experience with other languages is good as well.
• Interest in topics like k8s docker and cloud services. Experience with k8s is a plus.
• Experience with lifecycle management is a plus.
• Fluency in English with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and careful way of working with a high degree of quality awareness and business orientation.
