Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing and grooming.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs.
• Assisting with mobility and positioning.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Keeping patient rooms clean and tidy.
• Reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
• Following all safety and infection control policies.

Requirements:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• 6 Months to 12 Months of experience required as a CNA in nursing home
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
• Proficiency in venipuncture and aseptic technique
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic eClinicalWorks)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
