This is a remote position.
Title: IT Support Consultant (Contract)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Specialist to join us on a shortterm contract to design and implement a secure and userfriendly Google Site solution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a dynamic home page dashboard using Google Site with departmentspecific information incorporating rolebased access controls (RBAC) for secure user access.
- Integrate a document management system with Google Drive ensuring seamless mapping collaboration and sharing functionalities for efficient document handling.
- Implement a Single SignOn (SSO) solution using Okta or a similar provider to enable secure centralized login for both external applications and the Google Site itself.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to dashboarding document management and SSO implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
- Experience configuring and managing Google Site dashboards with RBAC implementation.
- Expertise in document management systems and their integration with cloud storage platforms like Google Drive.
- Proven experience deploying SSO solutions for accessing external applications and web portals.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills for troubleshooting technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with crossfunctional teams and endusers.
Required Skills/Experience 8+ years of progressive experience in HCL WebSphere Commerce v7, v8, v9, WebSphere Application Server, Rational Application Developer/Eclipse, DB2. Experience with microservices, containers, and Orchestration frameworks (K8S). 8+ years of experience in Java J2EE Technology experience specifically: JSP, Servlet, EJB, AOP, JMS, Java Mail, SQL, JDBC, and Struts. Experience in working with Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, Akamai, etc. Knowledge of Headless architecture e.g. REACT/ NodeJS / GraphQL Open source API knowledge (Apache, ant, axis, commons, Unit, xerces) Experience with jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Dojo, Angular JS, and React JS Experience with continuous integration technologies: Jenkins or QuickBuild and GitHub Knowledge or experience in the application configuration Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST Web Technologies - HTML/CSS/Bootstrap Rapid prototyping Extensive experience working in an AGILE workflow model. System Performance management Problem-solving and analytical thinking Strong oral/written communication skills Knowledge of Mobile technologies PhoneGap/Cordova / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5 a plus
