Responsibilities:

• Assists surgical team during operative procedures.
• Arranges and inventories sterile setup for operations and hands items as needed to the operative team.
• Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating rooms.
• Responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

• Post High School Diploma Program
• Graduate of a Surgical Tech program required

Experience:

• No experience required

Certification and Licensure:

• BLS Certification

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Surgical Tech preferred.
• Open to Surg Techs with experience in any specialty.
• Must have at least 1 full year of Surgical Tech experience.
• Must have graduated from a Surgical Technology program.
• If not certified must meet state guidelines for exemption (will discuss during intake call).
