1. Ensuring adherence to Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) protocols during medical emergencies. 2. Performing Basic Life Support (BLS) procedures as necessary including CPR and use of defibrillators. 3. Applying knowledge of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) to assess stroke severity and guide treatment. 4. Utilizing the NURSYS database to verify nursing credentials track practice histories and manage other relevant information. 5. Responding promptly and effectively to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. 6. Conducting neurological assessments using the NIHSS to determine the level of impairment in stroke patients. 7. Maintaining updated knowledge of BLS and ACLS guidelines and protocols to ensure quality patient care. 8. Utilizing NURSYS for accurate recordkeeping and tracking of nurse licensing information. 9. Regularly participating in drills and workshops to stay updated with ACLS BLS and NIHSS techniques. 10. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
