Associate Security Specialist

Our direct client has an opening for an Associate Security Specialist for their Security & Emergency Management Team at our Headquarters location downtown Los Angeles CA.

This is a hybrid schedule with a flexible schedule starting as early as 7:00am with every other Friday off. Were looking for someone who can work on tasks related to the maintenance of clients Emergency Action Plan in place at client site. This person will demonstrate a positive attitude customer service skills problem solving skills and who can work collaboratively with business stakeholders.

Please note this position requires the successful completion of a background check drug screen and employment and education verification prior to starting work.

In this position the Associate Security Specialist will have 35yrs in emergency planning with government organizations. Someone with Emergency Action Plan experience along with FEMA online training: IS100 IS200 IS700 IS800 and Cal OES (CSTI) course G606 would be a real plus. The Associate Security Specialist should have a minimum of oneyear experience working in an emergency management or disaster response organization either as a paid or volunteer staff and have experience working a government EOC during a real activation or exercise.
