Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of production job drawings and specifications to evaluate manufacturing feasibility methods and time requirements.
• Regularly update and maintain facility layout drawings and documentation.
• Utilize problemsolving skills to analyze data identify issues and devise viable solutions including the interpretation of technical instructions in various formats.
• Develop and maintain technical reports and procedural documentation ensuring clear communication across teams.
• Engage in proactive teamwork to contribute to achieving departmental and companywide objectives.
• Innovate and implement strategies for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Oversee engineering project schedules and budgets coordinating with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Uphold confidentiality and integrity safeguarding company information and maintaining professionalism.
• Adhere to all safety standards and report any unsafe conditions to management or HR.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in software tools such as MS Excel MS Word MS Outlook and the ability to create and interpret 3D graphics and technical flowcharts/diagrams.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering demonstrating a track record of successful project management and process improvement.
• A Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in engineering related to manufacturing and construction environments.
• Experience with robotic system design and implementation.
• Proficient with PLC systems including programming and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to start up and optimize systems for peak performance.
• Strong communication skills capable of effective writing and verbal presentations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to foster strong relationships within the workplace promoting a collaborative team environment.
