We are seeking an experienced meticulous and adaptable Data Analyst tojoin our Engineering team to ensure theaccuracy and quality of our data. Youwill work closely with the data management team to identify analyse andresolve data quality problems. Ideally you will have a keen eye for detail anda commitment to making sure our data is accurate consistent and reliable.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Data Quality Analysis: Evaluate large datasets for quality and accuracy. Identify and correct errors and inconsistencies in data.
• Data Validation and Verification: Implement procedures for data validation and verification. Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
• Reporting and Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed reports on the quality of data. Document processes and findings in data quality assessments.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work with Engineering and data teams to implement quality assurance processes. Provide feedback and insights to improve data collection and processing.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for data quality improvement and help to implement solutions to enhance the overall quality of data.

Essential Skills:

• 2 years experience in a Data Analyst Data Quality Analyst or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data quality tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
• Based in Northern Ireland

DesirableSkills:

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in: Computer Science Data Analytics Business Analytics Data Science Business IT or a similar field.
• Knowledge of data governance and data management practices.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch / OpenSearch.
• Experience in using command line tools to chop and analyse large data sets
• Experience working in a startup.
