Reports to the Accounting Director

This wellestablished oil and energy company continues to see strong growth. Because of this growth several key positions are open.

They own their space and continue to find new sources for sales.

In this key role reporting directly to the Accounting Director and work with key members of the team.

This role will allow you to personally grow as you train and develop your small team.

This role is very visible and will offer you no two days as being the same.

We seek a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Deer Parks Oil & Energy industry. The ideal candidate will oversee the companys financial activities ensuring accuracy and regulation compliance. This role requires a detailoriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accruals and other journal entries as required. Complete account analysis and account reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Manage general ledger accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with timely completion of requests from internal and external auditors
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA preferred
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
