WSETs purpose is to empower people through inspiring learning experiences all over the world. We offer a comprehensive suite of globally recognised qualifications covering wines spirits and sake.
We are the worlds leading provider of qualifications in wines spirits and sake delivering over 140000 exams each year to candidates in over 70 countries via our network of Approved Programme Providers (APPs).
The successful applicant will contribute to a culture of integrity empowerment dynamism and inclusivity within WSET.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Marketing Administrator who can join with immediate effectto provide support to our events and partnerships team. The ideal candidate will assist in the coordination and delivery of a range of administrative tasks for one of WSETs flagship events Graduation 2024. The role will also support with other adhoc tasks for our Global events Hub webinar programme alumni programme and the WSET jobs board. Successful candidate will be responsible for:
Attendee communication: Graduation inbox management Eventbrite RSVPs.
Event logistics and preparation of materials: prepare and print badges guestlists signage certificates and PPT slides. Prepare and pack goody bags and other event materials.
Event coordination: Support the team in the execution of WSET Graduation Diploma Centre Social and webinar programme. (Must be available all day and evening on 23 April).
Supplier and stakeholder liaison: Coordinate with suppliers and WSETs facilities team for event logistics such as printing trophy polishing branded merchandise and arranging for delivery and collection of items to event venue.
Data Management: Maintain databases and spreadsheets related to event registrations attendee lists and briefings.
Social Media Support: Cover WSET job board responsibilities
Crossfunctional collaboration and support: Support wider marketing team with adhoc tasks relating to time sensitive projects. Liaise with internal event volunteers and wider teams as required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detailoriented with a commitment to delivering highquality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Flexibility to be in the office in the run up to 23 April event.
Previous experience in event coordination preferably in a marketing or not for profit environment.
Desirable criteria
Possesses a working knowledge of design tools such as Figma.
Possesses a working knowledge of endtoend event platforms such as Accel Events.
Excellent organisation and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Holds a WSET qualification.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and event management platforms including Eventbrite and Zoom.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in marketing initiatives.
