Whats on offer
The firm will provide sponsorship to study towards a professional qualification in tax: the ATT CTA tax pathway.
Youll get paid study leave and well even cover the cost of your exams. Youll get regular checkins and guidance to ensure youre continuing to grow with the aim for you to join us permanently upon completion.
Your role
In this position youll be responsible for:
- Contributing to the delivery of good quality VAT advice to our clients
- Completing VAT documentation and other written work as required
- Staying up to date with national and international VAT legislation developments
- Conducting research to stay up to date on current commercial and economic developments related to your clients interests
- Developing an understanding of a wide range of sectors and any related technical issues or VAT risks
- Building and maintaining strong relationships internally with colleagues and supporting them on client projects as needed working closely with VAT Partner and wider team as required
- Correspond with HM Revenue & Customs on relevant matters such as enquiries into a clients VAT affairs and work closely with clients to keep them updated

- The ability to build and maintain professional relationships effectively
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- A natural curiosity coupled with strong research skills to support your understanding of the issues impacting your clients
- Strong attention to detail prioritisation and organisational skills
- A collaborative proactive and can do attitude
