Planning Order amp Distribution Manager

This role will be responsible for Planning Ordering and Distribution Process (POD) for Polestar North America. The Planning Order and Distribution Manager will lead the demand forecasting and planning processes. You will oversee Polestars order creation delivery planning internal vehicle fleet management supply chain coordination from factory to final delivery as well as the various fleet sale related activities. In this role you will have a focus on developing the strategy to ensure accuracy within sales forecasting and efficiency within order management.

What youll do

• Take the lead in generating forecasting models and sales targets on an ongoing basis
• Monitor and report on order bank stock order operations to drive activities relating to sales mix and volume
• Support Commercial Fleet sales with vehicle forecasting ordering and tracking as needed
• Ensure data accuracy in our factory order system (VISTA) highlighting any discrepancies between internal systems to central teams
• Manage our internal fleet of vehicles including but not limited to ordering tracking registrations insurance accident reporting and financial reporting
• Manage a team consisting of Order & Distribution Specialists and a Fleet Analyst
• Investigate and follow up on process gaps evaluating relevant metrics to highlight opportunities for improvement
• Create and track budgets for all purchase orders (POs) within sales operations and logistics departments
• Maintain departmental KPI/Scorecard reporting
• Work closely with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders within the market in development of sales/market strategy in the US and Canada

Who you are

• 5 years of experience in sales forecasting order management automotive or supply chain
• Understanding of the automotive ecosystem is highly desirable
• You possess an analytical mindset with the ability to analyze various forms of data drawing conclusions and actionable takeaways to best support business needs
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables etc.)
• Proven ability to create reporting methods and tools to report on KPIs
• Previous experience working with sales and order management enterprise software highly preferred (SAP etc.)
• You thrive in a rapidly evolving environment
• Customer satisfaction driven with an approach that focuses on continuous improvement
• A valid US drivers license
